The campaign is straight-forward. You run through levels taking place in a few different locales, like the jungle and a city, kill every enemy, and ultimately, kill the head terrorist at the end– this is the core of Broforce.</div>

What makes Broforce original is that isn't not about collecting different weapons, but rescuing other members of Broforce. Modeled after characters from <b>popular movies and television shows</b>, Broforce applies "Bro" to each name, although it's very easy to see the source material behind each character. While the game takes its inspiration from 80s movies and television, Free Lives has added more recent characters like The Boondock Bros (<i>The Boondock Saints</i>),Mr. Anderbro (<i>The Matrix</i>), and Brochete (<i>Machete</i>).</div>

Each <b>Bro has a different style</b>. Rambro (<i>Rambo</i>), for example, uses a machine gun, and his special attack is a wide-area grenade. When you unlock the Brominator (<i>Terminator</i>), you get to run around with a mini-gun. Activating his special attack will change him into the T-800 exoskeleton. As of April 2014, there are <a href="http://broforce.wikia.com/wiki/Bros" mce_href="http://broforce.wikia.com/wiki/Bros" style="color: #006bc1; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank" title="Broforce wiki">19 Bros to unlock</a>. The variety in attack styles keeps the gameplay fresh, and adapting to each style is actually fun because they are all polished to work on any level.</div>

Each time you rescue a Bro, you switch to a new Bro. This also increases your lives in single player. In co-op, on the other hand, it's a very fine balance deciding who's going to steal the rescue first. The game naturally lends itself to playing with a friend, and it's easy to see this being expanded to support a lot of players at once for gigantic boss fights. Right now, there's also four player online multiplayer, but until it's more stable, it's probably not the best option to use.</div>

Run, shoot, and kill</h3>

Broforce's <b>gameplay is so insane</b> that sometimes you have to sit back and wait for all the destruction to finish. While you have tons of Bros to use, the game takes cues from older games like <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contra_(video_game)" mce_href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contra_(video_game)" style="color: #006bc1; text-decoration: none;">Contra</a>, where it's one-hit-one-kill. This means that even though you are ridiculously powerful, one gunshot, grenade, or even the environment can kill you. There are checkpoints so that you don't have to restart the level, but in later levels in the Early Access build, you'll be jumping and shooting in all directions.</div>

Since Broforce has 19 characters and each plays different, replayability is natural. Bro spawning appears to be random, so in your first play through, you won't have a lot of Bros to use. When you unlock them all, rescuing Bros is half the fun. The special attacks each Bro has is specific to that character, and references something from the source material they're from. A great example is Brobocop (<i>Robocop</i>), where you can target and lock onto enemies in the stage.</div>

There are a couple of boss fights in Broforce in the Early Access build, and they do add variety to the game, but they're not that difficult. Hopefully, as more update get released, there will be bigger and crazier boss fights. Right now, they're not much more challenging than some of the stronger regular enemies. It would be great to see a boss that takes up the entire screen.</div>

In spite of its simple premise, Metal Slug X will keep on surprising you. To begin with, get ready for literally <strong>rampant action</strong>: one minute you'll be aboard a jet plane destroying a moving train and the next you'll be climbing a tower while escaping from a monster-shaped robot.</div>

But the action is not the only thing that will vary in the game: eat too much fruit and you'll turn into an obese but mortal hero; once in a while you'll run into vehicles that radically change playability; and don't forget the enormous final bosses, which are also <strong>true visual spectacles</strong>. You'll die many times because you'll be paying more attention to the details happening on the screen than to what's happening to your character!</div>

It's impossible for you to finish Metal Slug X at the first attempt. You'll die many times, since <strong>the enemies</strong> will not stop attacking you. But everything has a price: Metal Slug X will laugh at the number of times you've died until you can finish the adventure.</div>

For instance, the enemies will make fun of you when you die but they'll be screaming with terror when they see that you have just revived. Hilarious!</div>

It doesn’t take long until this initial confusion dissolves into delight, as I become the legendary soldier Big Boss. You can<strong> do what you want, how you want, where you want, when you want, with whoever you want</strong>. Do you infiltrate the enemy base during daylight, or will you wait until dusk? Steal the truck or distract your foes with an explosion? Kill or capture a mercenary? Snipe, or go in guns blazing with your faithful dog to distract guards? The choices are exhausting.</div>

The result is that MGSV is the freest sandbox I have ever seen in an action game. After the dramatic two hour prologue – <a href="http://metal-gear-solid-5-ground-zeroes.en.softonic.com/" style="color: #006bc1; text-decoration: none;" title="Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros">Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeros</a> – this may leave fans more than a little surprised, but this is a game about making your own story on the battlefield rather than having it told to you.</div>

Along with the stealth and gunplay seen in Ground Zeros, Phantom Pain includes a Fulton system to enable you to kidnap enemies, you can steal resources to improve your base, give orders to allies, ride horses, driving all sorts of vehicles, and all without ever feeling like the controls are working against you. The Big Boss is at your service: you're in charge and he will follow your orders without question.</div>

Lara Croft: Guardian of Light utilizes <strong>quick, arcade-like, dual-stick controls</strong> to create a faster pace of play than most Tomb Raiders. The enemies swarm you thick and fast, with the onus being on you to take them down quickly rather than utilizing stealth and guile.</div>

To help you with there is Totec, the Mayan leader of the Guardians of Light. The plot, which begins 2000 years ago in Central America has Totec and the Guardians battling the evil Xolotl. And, while they technically fail with all the Guardians killed, their leader finds a way to<strong>imprison Xolotl until the present day</strong>. </div>

They would have stayed safely trapped for all eternity too, if it wasn’t for Lara’s tomb raiding antics freeing them. This might not have been too bad were it just Xolotl that escaped, but he bought with him <strong>trolls, giant spiders, and other demonic hordes</strong>. Not to worry though, because our new dynamic duo are ready so shoot and spear to death all in their way.</div>

Totec is more than a mere plot device or a clone of Lara to allow for multiplayer action – though, handily, he does also fill both these roles. Lara and Totec must <strong>work together using their different skills</strong> to solve the environmental puzzles.</div>

Sometimes this has them both pushing blocks and boulders, while at other times Totec must throw spears to be used as platforms by Lara so she can navigate her way to switches that <strong>unlock the path forward</strong>. </div>

There is a good amount of problem solving too, however, and nowhere is this clearer than in co-op when the pair must combine their unique talents to move forward.</div>

These turn-based, board game like experiences look wonderful, with<strong> a minimalist style that is both beautiful and clear</strong>. Plus, Lara Croft GO is the best to date.</div>

Being turn-based game, you get your chance to move and attack using the game’s <strong>simple swipe and tap inputs</strong>. You can plan your move for as long as you like, because the system ensures that any monsters or other environmental hazards must wait for you to move before they take their GO… sorry. Don’t be fooled by the gentle pace, you’ll spend many a tense moment trying to work out just how many spaces that spider can move before you commit to an action.</div>

It terms of gameplay it is <strong>the biggest departure for the series</strong>, but it remains faithful to the Tomb Raider ethos and I would say that it is the best portable Lara game available.</div>

The plot's so mixed up and out of order it's likely to confuse.</h5>

The plot is perhaps the most obvious problem, due to the way it frantically jumps between scenes from The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Rather than being an interesting take on the MCU chronology, it’s so mixed up and out of order it’s likely to confuse anyone who hasn’t watched all of those films fairly recently. It feels a lot more like a series of uncoordinated vignettes than the high-quality, cohesive package we’ve come to expect from LEGO games.</div>
<div style="padding: 0px 0px 25px;">
Ignoring that mess, the occasional crashes, and a tedious puzzle minigame that pops up far too often, LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is still a fairly decent third-person action-adventure that mostly focuses on fairly light, simple combat and some environmental puzzle solving, usually using abilities from specific characters to flick switches, pull levers, and open locked doors. If you’ve ever played a LEGO game before, you know the drill.</div>

The one good innovation here is the cinematic team combos, showcased in the first mission, an impressive recreation of the opening scene from The Avengers. Where previously most combat in the LEGO games has been a series of mashing buttons to get through to the next, equally-blocky bad guy, LEGO Avengers introduces more involving, specifically timed QTE-like sequences. Here, an enemy will have a button prompt above their head and, if you press it at the right time (and the window is generous), you’ll execute a nicely animated combo move. Do this while you’re near a co-op partner and you’ll execute a devastating, engaging, and often fairly funny team combo move, with animations that vary depending on the two characters involved. Hulk ends up punching Thor at the end of theirs, for one.</div>

The Old Stomping Grounds</h3>

The environments in that first level, and a strange assortment of others - but not all of them - are also the most realistic looking, dense places we’ve seen so far in any LEGO game. The various open-world ‘hubs’ - Manhattan, Asgard, Sokovia, Washington D.C., Barton’s Farm, S.H.I.E.L.D. Base and Malibu - are all remarkably well-fleshed out, familiar locations that are a delight to simply wander around, but they’re also littered with collectibles and side-quests. In any of these hubs, you can pull up a list of one of the 200+ playable characters and pick any that you’ve unlocked to traverse the environments with - Quicksilver is particularly good to use in Manhattan, for example, considering it’s so big and he’s so fast.</div>

Almost everything in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is co-op friendly, too - even the open world and the side-quests within them can be played by two players at once, both doing totally different things (including separate side quests), with dynamic or a horizontally fixed split-screen. This means you can unlock extra characters and character variations twice as fast.</div>

In some scenes one player is almost completely useless.</h5>

Some of the story missions aren’t quite the same, though, since of the more epic battles from the films - like Hulk versus Iron Man’s Hulk Buster - has the second player doing almost nothing, waiting for the first to finish fighting the Hulk. Because of a stubborn adherence to movie accuracy there are a surprising amount of sequences like this, where one player is almost completely useless, in a way that takes a lot of the fun out of those co-op experiences. It’s not a constant flaw, but, in comparison to previous LEGO games, it stands out.</div>

Attempts at keeping the game as close to the movies as possible also affected the audio in unfortunate ways. Lines of dialogue pulled straight from the films and mixed into the game sound really unnatural, and dull compared to some of the newly recorded lines from Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson. While on paper the idea of using the voices of actors we’ve come to know from the films sounds like it would make the game feel much more authentic, it also means a lot of awkward silences and repetition of lines - they couldn’t record new dialogue, so instead they sometimes don’t say anything at all where it seems like they should.</div>

<span id="id_keyword__80338__text">If you like the LEGO game formula, you have a preference for playing solo and you’re a huge fan of MCU, there’s still a lot of value for you in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, even despite a disjointed plot and annoying audio mixes. If you haven’t played any of the others and you’re thinking about picking up this one, I’d advise starting with just about any other game instead. This the weakest LEGO game I’ve played thus far, and had me missing games like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and LEGO Dimensions.</span></div>

But <strong>he is always just out of reach</strong> and, as you pursue him, the park rapidly rots leaving you running past piles of garbage, ruined rides, and abandoned stalls. The degradation is quite chilling and - when combined with creepy characters and sanity effects - manages to set a terrifying tone that makes the game's unsettling psychological elements work.</div>

Scattered among the debris are messages and events that you can interact with. These <strong>reveal the secrets</strong> of Atlantic Island Park’s and Lorraine’s past – slowly explaining why you are experiencing the horrors around you.</div>

But, if you are invested in Lorraine's situation, there should be nothing that distracts you from your chase. Many of the attractions you pass can be ridden – but the game rarely tempts you into doing so because Callum is clearly elsewhere.</div>

It’s a shame, because these<strong> rides are the centerpieces</strong> that pad out the one or two hour story. While it's slow, the swan ride in particular impacted me. A shadow theater display tells the tale of Hansel and Gretel but intersperses it with unnerving visual effects and surprise twists that make it resonate with the game’s themes.</div>

Of course, missing elements should be a reason to revisit the short experience. The problem is <strong>the crescendo to Lorraine’s journey is so intense</strong>, both in terms of story and its use of some of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.T._(video_game)" style="color: #006bc1; text-decoration: none;" target="_self" title="P.T. on Wikiepedia">P.T.</a>’s looping gameplay elements, restarting it is the last thing you want to do. </div>

It's all about the ecosystem these days and Microsoft is tackling that challenge with a complete ecosystem for Lync. There is even a Windows Phone 8 application that is excellent. Microsoft knows that not all users will have Lync installed on each computer so they've put in extra work to create a <strong>web app for Lync</strong>. While Microsoft is pushing consumers to use Skype, it is pushing corporate users to use Lync. That shouldn't be a problem though as Lync is <strong>one of the most well thought out chat clients out there today</strong>. There are a ton of excellent features and the interface is well done. It integrates flawlessly with other Microsoft products and the Lync ecosystem is satisfying to use. </div>
